Charles N. Judy, age 94, of Hillsboro, passed away Tuesday evening, October 30, 2012 at his home. He was born May 20, 1918 in Columbus, Ohio the son of the late Clyde and Bertha Fishbaugh Judy. He had retired after many years of service as a press printer from the Xerox Corporation. He was a WWII veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and received the Purple Heart for injuries received in battle in the Asiatic-Pacific Area. He is survived by one daughter, Mary Louise Hacker of Hillsboro, one son, Charles Allen Judy of Wilmington, six grandchildren, Tim Mosier of Washington Court House, Kim (Randy) Hall of Hillsboro, Craig Mosier of Circleville, Ronald Mosier of Washington Court House, Hans Hacker of Hillsboro and Kevin Hacker of Hillsboro, fifteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Dolores Marie Busby Judy, on March 19, 1997, one daughter, Diana Mosier and one sister Bessie Paulson. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 3, 2012 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Rev. Richard Burns will officiate. Burial, with military honors presented by the Highland County Honor Guard, will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
